This Anglo-Argentinean teaming has developed over the past five years from what was
initially a 'jazz guitar duo' to the recording and concert performing project that it is today. We have gradually steered our repertoire away from the jazz standards thing to a more varied programme, aimed at wowing and wooing a very broad listenership.
D'Agostino & Oxley have performed in concert halls, theatres, festivals, village halls and jazz clubs all over the UK and Europe. The idea behind the gigs is to perform a scintillating and engaging array of pieces that will appeal to anybody interested (even if only mildly!) in the guitar. Our repertoire ranges from tangos - traditional and modern - to works by the likes of Chick Corea, Egberto Gismonti, Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones.
