Formed in 2004 , by bassist Al Swainger, Time Wasters offer a sublime mix
of subtle syncopation, daring time changes and technical dexterity combined
with good, honest, down to earth groove. Whether playing straight ahead
or something a little more exotic, the music is never delivered with anything
short of passion and intensity by a genuinely first rate band. Featuring
many of the South West's finest musicians, Graham Hutton (trumpet), Roz
Harding (alto sax), Lisa Tregale (tenor), Neil Burns (guitar), George Cooper
(keyboards), Al Swainger (bass) and Gary Evans (drums) Time Wasters provides
a perfect showcase for the formidable level of talent on offer, yet without
ever losing sight of the most important aspect of any music - having fun
