This Devon based band is led by virtuoso Jeremy Huggett, a UK award winner
for best reed player, who clearly demonstrates his skill and maturity on
all the saxophones and flute. Since its birth in 1997 the Band has been
in great demand and have appeared at all the major jazz festivals including
Bude, Teignmouth, Birmingham, Keswick and Cork.
They have recorded 6 CDs, appeared live on BBC radio and launched BBC Music
Live (2000) on BBC National Television. They have also had extensive airplay
on BBC Radio Devon, BBC Radio Cornwall, Devon-based Gemini FM, and Somerset-based
Apple FM.
Jeremy started his musical career at the age of four by learning the piano
- he added the flute at the age of six and the saxes at twenty and has played
with famous names all over the country including Acker Bilk, Digby Fairweather,
Danny Moss, Pete Allen, Tommy Burton, Beryl Brydon, Enrico Tomasso, Jim
Fryer and many others.
Jeremy is joined by the formidable rhythm section of Steve Dow on guitar,
Tony Mann on bass guitar, and Brian Clarke on drums.
